Parkside and Strata Tiles are coming together to hold the Festival of Sustainability, a once only event that looks at making more sustainable specification choices and celebrates the β40 for 40β initiative in partnership with the World Land Trust.
The festival includes a packed agenda of speakers from the world of sustainability and topics set to spark conversations at the post-event unwind. For those involved in the specification of products for commercial interiors, the Festival is a must visit.
Speakers from BREEAM, greenspec and Passivehaus Trust will show ways to clear the mud covering sustainable criteria. Then, leading architects and constructors including MakeArchitects, Tudor Stonework, BDP and The Office Group are going to get stuck into the future of sustainability.
The session will wrap up with our eco champions discussing topics as diverse as furniture, beer and waste, before finishing with highlights including Criaterra 100% natural and biodegradable wall tiles and the β40 for 40β partnership with the World Land Trust.
β40 for 40β is a landmark programme for Parkside and Strata Tiles. For every square metre of tiles with over 40 per cent recycled content purchased from Parkside or Strata Tiles, the companies will donate 40 pence to World Land Trust, through the conservation charityβs Buy an Acre programme that preserves crucial natural habitats. The World Land Trust will explain just how this initiative will help to protect some of the worldβs most threatened habitats.
