Girlhood & Contemporary French Cinema Studies Symposium

The BAFTSS French and Francophone Studies Special Interest Group invites you to attend a study day focused on recent trends in French and Francophone cinema, organised around Céline Sciamma'scult film Bande de Filles/Girlhood (2014). Leading scholars on French cinema from the UK and France will offer a variety of expert perspectives and methodological approaches to the film, and the day will culminate in a round table discussion.
