UCL Grand Challenges, Grand Impacts – Launch Reception
UCL Grand Challenges invites colleagues to a launch reception to mark the opening of the Grand Challenges: Grand Impacts exhibition in the South Cloisters.
The exhibition, curated by UCL Culture, features a thematic exploration of work supported by Grand Challenges and highlights the range of impacts generated. A series of case studies showcase the diversity of ideas, themes, partnerships, and the recognition that impactful solutions to societal challenges rarely come from one field alone.
The reception will be opened by Professor Geraint Rees (Vice-Provost, Research, Innovation & Global Engagement). Attendees will have an opportunity to view the exhibition, network over refreshments, share ideas, and hear from speakers on the value of interdisciplinarity to their research and how they have crossed boundaries to generate impacts and address societal challenges.
