Join us for our 1st event of 2023! We'll be hearing from SWR's Dan Piner about the innovation challenges & priorities for South Western Railway, as well as the recently founded TOC Innovation Group, which seeks to bring TOCs together to work collaboratively in the innovation space. Plus we'll be hearing insight from a team applying government innovation into the private sector.

Dan has been working in the railway industry since 2011 and joined South Western Railway as Senior Strategy and Innovation Manager in January 2022. Prior to SWR, Dan was in the role of Rail Innovation Lead at Innovate UK, responsible for delivering public funding to drive innovation in the railway industry. Dan also has significant experience working with TOCs all over the world, including MTR Hong Kong, Metro Trains Melbourne and BART in San Francisco, to assist them with developing their strategy and optimising performance through the sharing of innovations and best practices.
