Then join us for an evening of all things first time buyer where we will bust myths, decode language, and answer all the questions you might be too embarrassed to ask. The evening will be hosted by Skipton Building Society and a panel of influencers who will be sharing their own experiences and top tips for getting onto the property ladder.

Led by personal finance expert, Iona Bain, and a panel of influencers and experts, our guests will discuss their journey and the challenges they faced to answer any and all of the questions you might have about buying your first home.

Expect open, honest stories and answers – including the personal challenges and sacrifices each made to save for a first home, covering everything from deposits, to furniture and interiors, to financial planning and help in understanding estate agency, solicitor and broker fees.

Skipton will also be offering one on one personal advice at the event – helping you to navigate home buying jargon, property purchases and mortgages, with experts from across the business.
