KGHI Career Event Series 1: Academia, NGOs, Policy Advocacy & International Organisations
Join us for the first in a series of global health career events, informing you of the variety of employment opportunities available.
This first event will look at careers in international organisations, NGOs, policy strategy & advocacy, and academia, and is a student/ ECR focused event, of interest to UG/ PGT/ PGR and postdocs.
The speakers are:
- Jessica Newberry-Le Vay, Policy Researcher, Cancer Research UK
- Annemijn Sondaal, Technical Officer, Women and Children First
- Dr Rosie Mayston, Lecturer in Global Health, King's College London
- Laura Grobicki, Senior Consultant (Global Health), CEPA Economics consultancy.
They'll be sharing their journey to their current positions, and talk about what influenced their decision-making, and their experiences.
After the event, there will be a networking opportunity with drinks and canapes from 8-9pm
