Legal Paths- In or Out? A 30 Years Perspective on Private Practice vs In-House for the Entertainment Industry.

Business & Professional

Chris Ancliff is the former EVP of Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa at Warner Music Group, as well as being on the General Counsel at both EMI Group and Warner Music International. While at Warner, he oversaw the company’s operations in the developing markets, and was responsible for WMG’s legal and business affairs outside of the US.Β

Throughout his career Chris has helped inform and shape policy on music and the creative industries around the world. He helped WMG create bigger acquisitions, expand their international footprint and embrace new business models, making him an asset for the company.

Chris will take the audience through his 30 years of experience in the Entertainment Industry with a focus on how legal practices and policies shape companies.Β

The evening will begin with a welcome reception at 18:30 with drinks and light snacks provided. The presentation will start at 19:00 and will last an hour with a 10 minute Q&A at the end. Afterwards, guests are invited to a networking session at a local pub to get to know members of Westminster Business Consultants and the University of Westminster's Bar Society.Β
