LIPN christmas seminar

Seasonal & Holiday

The LIPN is celebrating christmas, with talks from two ECRs and the opportunity to meet & chat with peers working on infection!

After 2 years of succesfull seminar hosted by the Francis Crick Institute, this year, the LIPN goes on the road and tour across London to meet with everyone working on infectious diseases!

Second stop on the tour is the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (https://maps.app.goo.gl/9J1Sv7rjgtrfxFVu8).

We will start with the science, with 2 talks:

  • "Molecular mechanisms of viral entry underlying viral evolution and host change" by Antoni Wrobel, coming all the way from Oxford University!
  • "" by Andrea Majstorovic from King's College London.

These will then be followed by our usual drinks, some snacks and networking in the foyer!

Another change is that from now on, we are gonne be hybrid to be more inclusive of location, caring capacity, commuting time, etc. However, we still encourage you to come in person if you can!

Please come and meet other ECRs working on infection in London 😊
