Managed Kubernetes in Cloud: GKE and EKS Deep Dive

Science & Technology

Come join the DoiT International team and learn about the features and options in the managed Kubernetes space.

Come join the DoiT International team and learn about the features and options in the managed Kubernetes space. In this session, we’ll compare key traits from Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS). We’ll lay out the value propositions from GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine) and EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service), dive deep on the technical details, talk about ease of deployment and common gotchas. After the sessions, you’ll be empowered to make the right choice for your use case.

The sessions will be given by Stepan Stipl, Senior Cloud Architect and Ric Harvey, Staff Cloud Architect. We will look at security, networking, cluster operations, usage metering, load-balancing and other features that can make deploying containerized workloads to production significantly easier and you might not even know about.

Following our session on Kubernetes, there will be a Q&A session, where you can ask about specific use cases or scenarios.
