Who are Marshmallow? 🤔

Well, since you asked... we're an insurance-tech company founded in 2017 by a team of three Founders - Oliver, Alexander and David. Our Founders wanted to change the world of insurance world by offering underserved communities, like expats and migrants, a fairer and more affordable insurance product. Fast forward 5 years and our mission has grown even bigger 🚀 We're working hard to reduce the distress caused by accidents and personal disasters - and one day remove it altogether.

We’re really proud of our journey so far, and of our talented team of 200+ people helping us to change the insurance industry. For good 🙌

Overview:

Join us for our first ever Meet Marshmallow event on June 9th 2022. Our event will sharpen your coding skills and to learn more about our technology and our unique culture 🎉

You can expect an informative code-along Terraform workshop, several lightning talks by our frontend and mobile teams, plenty of opportunity to ask questions, refreshments, and an awesome line-up of Engineer hosts 👩‍💻

The team can't wait to meet you, and to share all things Marshmallow with you!

The Details:

We will be running a workshop and lightning talks simultaneously across backend, frontend and mobile, facilitated by a few of our Engineers and engineering mentors. The workshop session is designed for you to interact with the host, and your fellow attendees in a small group setting where you will code along to your topic of choice.

If you would rather join the event for networking and meeting the Marshmallow team, we will be hosting an informal chat session alongside the workshop and lightning talks. This session will be co-hosted by the Engineering Team and People Team who can answer any questions you might have about our open roles and the hiring processes.

There will be pizza 🍕 and drinks 🍹 for everyone joining us!

3. Workshop + lightning talks + networking session at 7pm - 8:30PM

4. Networking from 8:30PM onwards where you can get to know the Marshmallow team
