MM’s Vineyard Stories “Meet the Producers” Azienda Agricola Dal Bello

Mercato Metropolitano is happy to launch Vineyard Stories, a series of events centered on the wine culture and the stories of the artisans and producers that make it thrive.

The first event of the series is all about Prosecco, and will feature the Italian wine producer Dal Bello, for which Mercato Metropolitano is an exclusive trader in the UK.

Guided by the producer and by Gianbattista Patti, MM’s wine expert, our guests will have the opportunity to taste 4 great Prosecco labels:

· The MM Prosecco DOC Treviso Extra Dry: “Straw yellow colour with greenishish reflections. Aroma of apple, apricot and jasmine bouquet. Fresh and balanced taste.”

· Prosecco Spumante DOCG Asolo CELEBER: “Beautiful perlage! This prosecco shows a pale straw colour - on the nose we have green apple, grapefruit and pear, light to medium body with balanced acidity and lots of bubbles.”

· Asolo Prosecco DOCG Frizzante Rocca d’Asolo: “Sparkling with a persistent yet delicate foam. An intense bouquet, combining apple and pineapple with a delicate yet decisive spicy aroma.”

· Prosecco Asolo Superiore DOCG Millesimato: “Fine and persistent perlage, the nose is intense and fruity with ripe golden apple aromas. It has also hints of acacia, the taste is structured, fresh with intense fruity nuances. The end is elegant and balanced.”

About the producer Dal Bello:

“The history of our company began in the 50s of the last Century, when our father Vittorio founded the business.

He was a master in handing down the passion for his job, and we, his sons Mario and Antonio, have chosen to carry on the project that our father had created with sacrifices and satisfaction.
