More Than Meets The Ear - A Presentation By 19 Sound – Guest Lecture

19 Sound is an Audio Post Production facility. This talk will focus on the start-up of the company and the work that they produce.

19 Sound is founded by Will Ward & Jack Wyllie, two friends with a lifelong passion for sound & music creation. One of the many specialties that 19 Sound focus on is Sound Mixing - for TV, Digital, Online and Film.

Will & Jack specialise in creative Sound design, and bespoke music composition, for all forms of media, across all formats. With a focus on textural soundscapes, and emotional impact, 19 Sound offers a unique, creative & contemporary audio / sound design solution for any project.

Will Ward

Will has a decade of expertise in sound design, audio editing, mixing and electronic production. His years spent training at Lipsync Post and Tamborine Productions gave him a solid grounding in audio post production and an informed understanding of industry processes. He has released music across a number of international labels and DJs regularly around the world.

Jack Wyllie

Jack's musical expertise spans classical, jazz and ambient. Working with directors, brands, record labels and agencies he has scored a number of short films, adverts and documentaries.

He is a well-established and highly respected musician, having toured globally and collaborated with critically acclaimed artists such as Joe Newman of Alt J, Jamie Woon and Luke Abbott. He has produced four studio albums with his band Portico Quartet, receiving a Mercury music nomination along the way.

Oscar Kugblenu

With over 20 years industry experience. He has a wide experience as an Audio Post Producer, managing the audio-post for hundreds of campaigns both UK & International, for brands as varied as Vodafone, Jaguar, Nike, Range Rover, Nivea, Sky Sports, Swiss-Com, Sky-Atlantic etc.
