MSc Project Networking Event 2019-20
Business & Professional
As in previous years, we will be holding an MSc project networking event. This academic year, it will be on Thursday 28 November 2019 at the University of Westminster, 115 New Cavendish St (room tbc), between 6.00pm and 8.30pm.
This will be a great opportunity:
- For students to find out more about what some alumni have done in their projects, to hear about project opportunities in the real world, and to network with alumni and others working or interested in areas relevant to Data Science, Business Intelligence and Analytics, and Big Data Technologies.
- For alumni and others to learn more about our courses and our staff expertise and interest, and to present project opportunities for students to work on in the summer 2020.
- If you would like to present a potential data science project opportunity, please email your 100 words project synopsis to [email protected] by 21 November 2019
The approximate schedule for the event is below:
- 17.40-18.00: Registration
- 18.00-18.30: Presentations by academic staff (of their interests)
- 18.30-19.30: industry/business opportunities (e.g. alumni, external organisations)
- 19.30-20.30: Networking around a few drinks and nibbles
