Net Zero Report Launch & Parliamentary Reception

The Net Zero APPG Report Launch has now been rescheduled to Monday 13th December 2021.

This Net Zero Roadmap builds on our 10 Point Net Zero Action Plan and ‘Decarbonisation Report: Putting Net Zero at the heart of UK Policy’ which we launched last year. The Net Zero Roadmap represents the findings and recommendations we have gathered from the vast body of evidence we received from MPs and Peers across the political spectrum, business and industry leaders, policy influencers, decision makers, regulators and academia.

As you know, if we are to make Britain zero carbon and meet the scale of the challenge ahead, the UK Government needs to work with local decision makers, industry and the wider public to develop and deliver a long-term and coherent roadmap. We know that, in the context of Covid-19, both local and national government policy and the regulatory environment must support green recovery, incentivise innovation, deliver zero-carbon infrastructure projects and create green jobs and skills. We believe that our report will provide the Government with a Net Zero Roadmap for the UK to accelerate and embed Net Zero policy to deliver net zero transition and ambitions by 2050 - or sooner.
