Science & Technology

Are you a tech investor looking to know more about Blockchain as an emerging sector?

Are you looking to explore the great opportunities that lie at the intersection between Blockchain technology and EdTech?

Or are you simply looking to network and grow your contact base in these sectors?

Then this event is right for you. London-based startup Gradbase (https://www.gradba.se/en/) is organising a networking event that aims to bring together investors to better understand the Edtech and Blockchain space, and the amazing opportunities that this great technology has to revolutionise the EdTech (and HRTech) sector.

The Gradbase leadership team will be giving a short keynote presentation about the synergies between Blockchain and EdTech/HRTech. This will be followed by an insightful presentation from a leading personality (TBC) in the space, with ample time for Q&A and networking afterwards.

The event is organised in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere at one of the most important startup hubs on the edge of Shoreditch. Drinks and light refreshments will be provided.

Gradbase is disrupting hiring. We are on a mission to enable individuals to store and share their true qualifications digitally, and to create digital CVs which can be validated immediately by recruiters and hiring managers. Our web-based platform functions as a global registry, allowing employers and recruiters from around the world instantaneous verification of any kind of professional and academic qualification.

Following successful pilots in prestigious universities (UCL, Telecom Business School), Gradbase has partnered with the most ambitious UK Government funded project, the Institute of Coding (IoC), which includes thirty UK universities; counts one of the largest UK Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Accreditation providers as well as Southern Europe’s largest Innovation School for start-ups, Talent Garden, as its clients.

Gradbase has been mentioned in the Times Higher Education (THE), the world’s most renowned publication for academic matters, as well as leading sector-specific online publications. It has collaborated with the European Commission Joint Research Centre (JRC) on their latest paper on Blockchain in Education, and with TechUK (?) on the application of blockchain for government services.

Following the successful commercialisation of the software platform in the UK and in Europe’s Gradbase is now raising funds via the Globacap platform.
