New CoWorking Space Battersea Works : Launch Party!

Join us to celebrate the launch of Battersea Works, a new affordable co-working space in Battersea with amazing onsite facilities !

After noticing a lack of co-working spaces specifically designed for working parents, Battersea Works aims to create an inspirational environment for working mums and dads who want collaborate, learn from each other and make friends !

All proceeds from Battersea Works are donated back to our charities: Business Launchpad and Caius House to support our missions of transforming the lives of young people.

The event is open to all, freelancers, entrepreneurs and working parents and our aim is to give all those that attend the opportunity to meet new people, network and build on existing relationships whilst promoting diversity within the co-working.

Our charismatic host, Felicia Mattis-Rome - Director of Operations at Business Launchpad, serial entrepreneur and mother - will welcome a panel of working parents who will share their fascinating journeys including any challenges they have faced and learnings taken from these. Our speakers will include :

- Sarah Ali Choudhury Founder of Gourmet Indian Cuisine & mother of 4 children : TV Chef, Multi Award Winner and Indian food expert. Her work has been highlighted by Forbes who recognise her as 'The Curry Queen' and as a leader for Asian women in Catering. She is listed in the F: Entrepreneur List for being in the top 100 Female entrepreneurs in the UK.

- Sophie Lilley Founder of Munchkin and Bear UK & mother of 3 children : "I left my role in a communications & reputation management firm after 17 years so I could build my business to fit around my family after having had the twins. Our play mats are stylish and practical something that wasn't on the market went we started out, and now we are in 20,000 homes across the world."
