Outdoor People shop launch party: Making every day an epic adventure!

We're so excited to announce that Dwayne Fields - a Clapton schoolboy who grew up to be a Polar Explorer and Scout’s Ambassador - will be joining us on 3 August at our new community shop.

This is a sit-down event of up to 50, so please do register if you are coming.

Dwayne will cut the ribbon (or guy rope!) marking the formal opening of the shop, and will lead a panel discussion on the gear we need for epic adventures near and far. On the panel, he will be joined by our CEO Cath Prisk and an Outdoor Families Volunteer and parent.

4:00 – 4:30 Panel discussion “Making every day an epic adventure!”

Arrive for party (through Paper dress) from c. 4:00

4:30 - 5:15

- Dwayne cuts the orange guy rope to formally open the shop

- Q&A with Dwayne, Cath and Yaa about getting outdoors, family camping and making every adventure, big or small, epic!

5:15 – 8pm Party & networking on Paper Dress Terrace

Sit down service on terrace until 7pm. First beer/wine free, as is lime soda all eve, after that a paid bar with amazing cocktails.
