Weโre delighted to announce the details of the inaugural event for PAMELA, the new Peri-Menopausal and Menopausal Legal Aid Support Network. Kindly hosted by leading legal aid firm Hodge Jones & Allen, the event will bring people together from across the legal aid sector to share their experiences and hear from network founder Dr Laura Janes and writer and womenโs health expert Kate Muir.
Running orderfor the event
18.30 - Drinks, nibbles and networking
19.00 - Dr Laura Janes will introduce womenโs health expert, documentary maker, and author Kate Muir, who will discuss how perimenopause and menopause affects women at work, particularly in the legal aid sector. Kate will explain the symptoms, treatment and mental health effects of menopause - and how changing hormones affect our careers. Understanding menopausal changes in clients matters too, as well as signposting them to good advice.
