Patrick Mavros' South African Campfire Stories with Rob Caskie

Community & Culture

Amazing raconteur, Rob Caskie will keep you on the edge of your seat transporting you to Southern Africa via the power of a story well told

We are delighted to be welcoming back our good friend Rob Caskie for his annual story-telling event at our flagship London store on the Fulham Road.

Rob is a world-class orator and his ability to bring the drama of South African history to life is exceptional.

His South African campfire stories contains a medley of anecdotes from the country’s past including the Anglo-Boer War, the death of The Prince Imperial of France, the loss and recovery of the Queen’s Colours and Harry Wolhuter’s almost unbelievable escape from the jaws of a lion which he stabbed to death with a sheath knife.

South Africa’s human history provides a magnificent canvas on which to paint stories, which we trust you will enjoy.

Rob believes there are powerful lessons to be learnt from these remarkable stories which resonate so powerfully with audiences today.

Rob thrives on the challenge and reward of entertaining audiences in the theatres of their imagination and transporting them via the power of a story well told.

We look forward to welcoming you to a remarkable evening with us!
