"Homelessness Is..." A new exhibition at The House of St Barnabas featuring artist's experiences living in unsuitable accommodation.
This exhibition showcases the powerful experiences of artists who have lived in unsuitable accommodation, challenging the common misconception that homelessness is solely about rough sleeping. In a world where the number of individuals residing in unsuitable and temporary housing is on the rise, against the backdrop of the cost-of-living crisis, "Homelessness Is..." questions what we think we know about this complex issue.
The House of St Barnabas, with its mission to break the cycles of homelessness, delivers tailored solutions through employment training, housing support, and pathways to stable work. By intervening at critical moments, the organisation equips individuals with the tools to rebuild their lives.
