Panel discussion and networking event for teachers and educators to meet professionals in the Built Environment Industry

Join STEM Learning and Arup at our Networking Event for teachers, youth group leaders , STEM Ambassadors and Built Environment professionals. We invite you to find out about the importance inspiring the next generation, building the future pipeline of STEM talent and the opportunities available for students looking to pursue a career in this exciting industry.

Did you know the Built Environment industry includes roles in sustainability, engineering, project manager, consultants, finance and many more?!

The session will include a panel discussion with opportunity to hear from early career starters and experienced professionals. Panellists will discuss the importance of employer engagement for schools, STEM Ambassador volunteering and how they got to where they are. Arup will also be sharing what they look for when hiring.

STEM Ambassadors are volunteers who offer their time and support to promote STEM subjects to young learners in a vast range of original, creative, practical and engaging ways. They cross all ages and backgrounds, representing a vast spectrum of different employers. They help open the doors to a world of opportunities and possibilities which come from pursuing STEM subjects and careers. In London there are 2,500 brilliant and inspiring volunteers helping to support the STEM curriculum and raise awareness of STEM careers, by revealing how essential STEM is throughout the world.
