Public Talk by Cees J. Hamelink -- Deep Dialogue as Peace Maker?

Uncategorized

Organised by The Institute for Media & Creative Industries at Loughborough University London, our Fall 2019-20 Speakers' Series will bring together researchers from across a wide range of interdisciplinary fields in order to address timely and pertinent questions in media & creative industries.

About the Event

Deep Dialogue as Peace Maker?

In his lecture Professor Hamelink proposes to conceptualise peace as "inclusive togetherness" and will argue that  on a fragmented planet this can only be achieved through the pro-social conversation that he calls "deep dialogue".

The lecture will be followed by a Q&A and drinks reception.
