Event description
The Children in Distress with the support of the Romanian Embassy in London is pleased to announce a special event in December β A Royal Celebration of Children in Distress. The event is intended to raise funds for the care of children in Romania with the most severe disabilities.
Children in Distress is a UK charity founded in 1990, directly associated to the Romanian charity of the same name, "Fundatia Copii In Dificultate", which is located in Bucharest, Romania.
The royal patron of the Charity, HRH Princess Maria of Romania, will attend and speak on the subject of βThe Future for our Childrenβ, along with Robert Marin, Head A.I of the Consulate General of Romania in London.
The event includes a drinks reception, buffet and refreshments and artistic interludes performed by Nelly Miricioiu - Soprano, David Gowland - Pianist and Marius Iepure together with his team - Professional Dancers.
