RQi Practitioners Event - Hitting The Off Switch

Business & Professional

This event is for qualified RQi Practitioners and those interested in becoming Practitioners. Please join us for talks, drinks and lively conversation about people and resilience. It's free!

The main speaker is Professor Mark Cropley (University of Surrey), health psychologist and world expert in work recovery. In his 2015 book The Off Switch, Professor Cropley blends engaging real-life case studies, clinical expertise and evidence-based techniques to provide a complete guide on how to switch off, get more enjoyment from free time, and still get more done at work. During this event, he will talk about the tools and techniques he has studied which enable people to switch-off from work and re-energise.

In addition, Matthew Critchlow will talk about the latest findings from the RQi database. Thrive is in the process of analysing over 1,200 RQi questionnaires to examine how people in different employment sectors and in different socio-economic groups cope with stress.
