'Rugged Terrain' is an exhibition created by Marie-Louise Jones during studio residence in the former Central Saint Martins building that is currently in the process of being demolished / transformed into a luxury hotel. With an interest in nature-culture and the materiality of everyday landscapes, over a period of 3 months she gathered, reused, and reworked the discarded architectural components and other salvaged materials to create a site-responsive body of work which uses reductive geometric forms, considerations of surface, spatial relations, and seminal materials of industry, to examine the artificial nature of our built environments.
The exhibition is on the top (10th) floor with 180 view of London city skyline which the works respond to.
The exhibition private view will adhere to social distancing regulations with half hour slots of up to 6 people (the room is a large well ventilated space with over 2metre distancing), hand sanitisation stations on entry/exit. Masks need to be worn unless medically exempt.
Please book 1 ticket for each attendee. Thank you
