Sommelier Graduation Ceremony &Walkarond Tasting 2019

The UK Sommelier Association Annual Walkaround Tasting event has become one of the premier wine events in London, celebrating the art of sommelierie in the refined surroundings of Le Méridien Piccadilly.

A Walkaround Tasting will take place during the day. Selected sponsors (producers and UK based importers of high-quality wines and food) will showcase their products to our guests, creating networking opportunities with wine and food professionals from around the United Kingdom and abroad. 

The centrepiece on the day is the Graduation, where we celebrate hard work, dedication and passion of our students in achieving their ultimate goal. We present them with their signature tastevins and diplomas, drawing in head hunters from some of the most iconic and eminent names of the London restaurant scene.

The Annual Walkaround Tasting event has become synonymous with networking. It open endless business opportunities, leading to established relationship. From producers seeking representation in the United Kingdom, to meeting wine importers, restaurateurs, wine buyer, sommeliers, chefs, journalists, restaurant managers and other industry professionals. They are all ex-students, members of our Association, partners and friends, with us to celebrate our annual Social event.
