Sunlit Uplands or Damage Limitation? Brexit’s Impact on Britain and Europe

Government & Politics

This event marks the official launch of the University of Surrey’s Centre for Britain and Europe (CBE). A group of high-level panellists have been invited to share their insights on the strategic areas impacted by Brexit. Key political, legal,  financial, and higher education sectors in both the UK and Europe will be explored in an engaging plenary-style discussion, with industry perspectives on both the EU-UK negotiations and their consequences in the short and long-term. The audience will be invited to ask questions during the Q&A session, and talk further to the panellists and CBE Director, Professor Amelia Hadfield. The panel and Q&A will run from 18:30-20:00, followed by a reception which will be held from 20:00-21:00. Scheduled the very week before the proposed Brexit date of 31st October, this timely event is highly recommended for those mapping out the key directions of specific sectors, and discussing the broader political changes likely to affect both the UK and Britain. Secure your ticket for this exclusive opportunity to gain a critical insight into the unprecedented changes in British and European politics.
