Launch of the TCPA research report 'London: Planning for a just city?' from our Planning for Inclusive Communities in London project.
Join us for the launch of a new TCPA research report βLondon: Planning for a just city?β. This report forms part of our Planning for Inclusive Communities in London project, funded by Trust for London. We will also launch a short guide for councils on the use Equality Impact Assessments in the development of planning policy.
The research report explores the degree to which equality and inclusion are being embedded within local authority planning policy and plan-making processes in London, and offers a series of recommendations aimed at reorienting planning to better focus on promoting equality, and reducing poverty and socioeconomic exclusion.
You are welcome to join us from 18:00. The report will be launched at 18:30, followed by a reception with drinks and small bites until 20:00. The venue is wheelchair accessible. For more information on the venue please follow this link.
