The Pitch Event - Southwark Entrepreneurs

You are invited to join us on Thursday 21st November 2019 at the Nuveen headquarters in Liverpool Street from 5:30pm - 9pm for an evening of food, drinks and networking as up to 12 young entrepreneurs from Business Launchpad's Southwark cohort individually pitch for up to £400 to test-trade their business idea as well as a chance to be awarded tailored business development support (an additional prize for the top 3 pitches). 

Between the 17th October 2019 until 18th January 2020, 12 young entrepreneurs are on a 12-week enterprise and wellbeing programme to take them from business idea to test-trade at The Shift, an enterprise and wellbeing co-working space for 16-25 year olds in Bermondsey. This pitch event is an opportunity for this group of young entrepreneurs to pitch their business idea to a panel of judges in order to receive funding to move on to the last stage of the programme which is to test trade. 

The enterprise and wellbeing 12-week programme has been funded by Southwark Council's Positive Futures fund and 3Space. This pitch event has been organised and facilitated by Nuveen.

On the evening you will: 

-meet the young entrepreneurs from Business Launchpad Southwark and hear them pitch their business idea to a panel of judges

-hear from 2 guest speakers, both of who are young entrepreneurs within the Business Launchpad network who have started up and are running their own business

-meet and mingle with a lovely bunch of people over food, drinks and some music
