The bikes are still and stowed away and Life's wheel keeps on turning. But, just for one evening, we would like to press the brakes, look over the shoulder and celebrate our adventure of yesteryear. This event is to thank all those who supported us and donated, and, for some others, to raise yet further awareness for Lotus Children's Center.
We are gratefully aware of the many who have already given so generously, and look forward to explaining how this money will sustain Lotus for years to come. The event, food and drinks have been generously sponsored by Chelverton Asset Management, and so any further collections raised on the night (we can take card or contact details) will go in their entirety to our solar power and heating project with Lotus.
Drinks and canapes will be served from 6pm.
At 6:45pm, we will share what we can of our journey, within and without.
Fraser Mccoll, president of the Lotus Foundation, will speak briefly about the work done at Lotus and what more is most needed, before celebrations resume and we can sign off on a wild and wearisome year.
