TOAST Circle | Swapping stories and garments

Fashion & Beauty

Join us to celebrate the launch of TOAST Circle with writer, broadcaster and public speaker Lucy Siegle.

To promote the idea that clothes can have a life beyond their first wearer we have created the TOAST Circle project. On the evening, there will be a talk and Q&A followed by cocktails and a chance to swap your garments.

Lucy is a writer, broadcaster and public speaker on environmental issues and sustainability. She has written To Die For: Is Fashion Wearing out the World and Turning the Tide on Plastic: How Humanity (and you) Can Make Our Globe Clean Again, as well as producing the Netflix feature documentary The True Cost.

We hope that you will bring your old TOAST garment into our London Notting Hill shop, share the story of that garment, and be inspired to find other worn pieces to cherish and take home.

How will it work?

1. Bring up to five garments you deem as high quality to swap.

2. Complete a story label detailing how and where you wore your garment.

3. Receive a token in exchange for each of your garments. The token will denote the original value of your garment (under Β£199 / over Β£200).

4. Explore the curated rails of pre-worn garments and trade your token to find new garments of the same value.

What can you swap?

You can swap pre-worn garments that are still in good condition.

Garments should be washed and ironed.

We will not be able to accept any clothes that are damaged.

There is a maximum of five garments per person.

Terms and conditions apply.
