Togetherness: A Culture of Belonging - Opening Reception

You're Invited! We are hosting an opening reception for our pop-up exhibit "Togetherness: A Culture of Belonging" at the Goldsmiths St James Hatcham Church. Nov 7th 4:30-7:30pm. Drinks, snacks and curriculmn resources for educators provided!

This exhibition turns the church into a world inhabited by child artists. It shows a world where community and identity are shaped through friendship and cross-cultural understanding, a world where we belong together. Showcasing carefully curated works from the international research project "Interfaith Childhoods", children from across London bring their stories to life through digital animations, patchwork quilts and canvases of future cities. The show will draw viewers into the minds’ eye of the child and capture your imagination and heart. Works exhibited include animations exploring identity and belonging and canvases mapping out future cities populated only by β€˜what really matters’.
