Femme Summer Fête

It is amazing to see so many great spaces and collectives smashing it. We have never felt more supported and encouraged by other womxn and non binaries. Because of this we have decided to come together at the end of the summer and throw a big party to show solidarity.

There is no competition and there is space for everyone :)

As summer draws to a close, let us celebrate the work of all these badass people who work their butts off for a fairer and more equal future.

We have chosen Grow, Hackney because we believe they represent our cause of coming together and showing solidarity and we'll be playing music on their terrace from 6pm, then moving inside for more intimate vibes and dancing from 10pm!

About Grow, Hackney:

🌱 An Experiment in Ethical and Sustainable Business 🌱

Grow is an independent and self-organised eco-system of studios and a creative space with bars and a kitchen, created out of an old sausage factory by the River Lea in Hackney Wick. They work in partnership with artists, musicians, DJ's and community groups and host a diverse programme of events, including: live jazz and blues, open decks reggae, workshops, talks and art/film festivals.

Grow pays London Living Wage, uses eco-electricity, sources ethically and locally and is free entry, wherever possible.

They currently serve a seasonal menu and range of drinks, including organic wines and prosecco, cocktails, homemade Hackney Spiced Rum, cask ale and also offers a range of soft drinks including Kompassion Kombucha, Rejuce, Charitea and Union Coffee.
