Waiting List for launch of Fleabag: The Scriptures at Waterstones Gower Street

Community & Culture

This is a love story.

On the eve of its publication, we are celebrating Fleabag: The Scriptures with conversation, fandom, M&S gins-in-tins, and a few surprises. Ticketholders can secure a special edition of the book (signed by Phoebe Waller-Bridge) ahead of the rest of the UK.

TV columnist Bolu Babalola, poet Charly Cox (Validate Me), author/broadcaster Rick Edwards (Hollywood Wants to Kill You), and writer and comedian Monica Heisey – chaired by Gower St.’s Rosie Beaumont-Thomas – will be participating in the global conversation that Fleabag started, looking at its place in the feminist TV canon, its reception, and discussing personal responses to the show.

Rosie will also be talking to Phoebe’s editor Emma Herdman about the exposition this new writing provides, and what reading the scripts can add to our understanding of Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s extraordinary creation – plus our audience will be invited to contribute to the conversation.

Please note that this event is now sold out. To register for the waiting list, please sign up below. If there are any refunds or cancellations, we will notify you via an Eventbrite email up to midday on the day of the event.
