Wolf & Badger Studios is proud to present the opening night of our first exhibition in our new space, hosting the talented Damien Cifelli.
After having to postpone the original event, Wolf & Badger Studios are excited to announce a new date!
On Thursday the 3rd of February, Wolf & Badger Studios will hold an opening night displaying work by the talented, young, Hackney-based artist Damien Cifelli.
Cifelli is a multidisciplinary artist whose work explores the land of Tarogramma; a hidden world that explorers have long been searching for in vain. 'Referencing the scale and compositions of history paintings and historical sculpture, he builds a detailed culture; with its own aesthetic, way of living, and understanding of the world, that is at once alien and eerily similar to our own.’
Wolf & Badger Studios’ general manager, Barbara Klekowska, explains “A space to create and a platform to showcase are crucial to every artist. I am proud of the environment we build for our teams and community to grow and get inspired in, so I was delighted to support this team-led initiative. Our community plays an integral role in who we are, and we are thrilled to be able to provide a platform for local and independent talent free of charge to promote creativity and innovation in the art industry. I am proud to be showcasing Damien Cifelli’s beautiful work in the debut of our exhibition series.”
The opening night is sponsored by Forest Road Brewing Co., whose cozy taproom is just feet away. Start off with a free beer from them in the exhibition space, and then head across the alley to sample their other delicious, locally sourced drinks.
