Ticket information

T ickets are free: But please bear in mind when we plan the event and order refreshments based on the registrations, and we have limited tickets. Please only book a ticket if you intend to come!

Who is this event for: This event is for Young Friends of the Earth members who live in London or can easily travel to London for monthly meetings in the future. You do not need to have any experience of running campaigns or groups to get involved but whilst we are starting out you do need to be confident to travel to the venue and take part in the meeting independently - this includes if you would like to attend with a support worker, PA or family or friend who can support you at the meeting. 16 and 17-year-olds can attend unaccompanied (with parental consent required in advance). Unfortunately, we are not able to offer childcare provision.

Cancellations: If you book a ticket, but find you can't attend, please cancel your ticket. This helps us know who is attending, plan the event, and offer your place to someone else.

Accessibility

The venue and building is fully wheelchair accessible via ramp and lift. There is an accessible gender-neutral toilet with a hoist. Please notify us if you are a wheelchair user so we can meet you on arrival as the ramp is a separate entrance.

During this training we will use Powerpoint and take part in group work.

In addition we have the follow processes in place to support accessibility:

  • PowerPoints and handouts will be emailed prior to training.
  • We welcome carers and support workers to attend training alongside any participants. Please let us know when registering so we can ensure that you are paired in any group activities.

Please let us know via the booking form if you have any other accessibility requirements or alternatively, you can email us on [email protected] to talk to us about it.
